Name: "Sha Menz"Do you know why this works? I would have expected that you would need the wash cloth to be hot to relieve congestion or something? My Mom has a very old croup remedy that is applied the same way, but it contains water, methylated spirits and olive oil. It doesn't smell so good, but always did the trick!

Name: vibrantlivingI don't know why this routine works; it's one of those listen to your Mother remedies. We usually use a cold wash cloth, but it makes sense to try a hot cloth. Your remedy sounds interesting.
